Mimi Knoop

Mimi Knoop is a 5-time X Games medalist & pioneer in action sports that has repeatedly built breakthrough opportunities for women in skateboarding.
Through founding WSA, a global management and consulting agency in 2015, Knoop has spearheaded organizing the world's top globally televised women’s skateboarding events, ensuring they were fair & legitimate for participating athletes. In 2009, Knoop played an instrumental role in securing prize purse equality for men & women at X Games in a landmark deal with/ ESPN. Knoop’s legacy lies in her unique ability to create authentic connections between corporate executives and the athletes at the core of her sport.
In 2019, Mimi helped build Team USA’s inaugural Olympic skateboarding program which debuted at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics. As the first-ever US Olympic head coach for skateboarding, her leadership resulted in bringing home two hard-won medals for the United States at skateboarding's first Olympic Games.
Knoop was recently featured in the full-length feature film, "Skate Dreams", which covers the lesser-known history of women's skateboarding & is available now to stream worldwide. A creative & trusted advocate at heart, she can often be found acting as a strategic advisor and mentor to many of the world's top pros, ensuring they find longevity in their professional careers.
