Skatepark Grants
Skatepark Grants, our founding program, empowers community-led projects that create safe and inclusive public skateparks, skate spaces, and skate spots in underserved communities.
Our commitment to community building goes beyond financial support; we champion equal accessibility to public skateparks, recognizing them as vital public recreational spaces, much like basketball and tennis courts. Through our application process, we empower community leaders to create dynamic and inclusive spaces for youth to enjoy action sports.

Organizations seeking to build free, public concrete skateparks in underserved communities are eligible to apply for a grant.
“Underserved populations” are groups with limited access to essential services like healthcare, education, employment, housing, and recreation, often due to factors such as socioeconomic status, geography, race, ethnicity, language, disability, or other social determinants.
The Skatepark Project values diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and belonging. Applicants must identify marginalized or underserved groups in their community who lack fair access to skateparks or outdoor play spaces due to discrimination and explain how the proposed skatepark will improve access and benefit those groups.
