Community Activation Grants

Community Activation Grants provide local organizations and municipalities with the opportunity to seek support for skate programming. The program engages and collaborates with local social skate organizations in communities with TSP-supported parks to strengthen youth development programming for skateboarding and action sports. Through this grant application, you can apply for funding to help maximize existing programs or get a new program off the ground. Alternatively, you can apply for skateboarding equipment and participate in our Supply the Ride program.

We support programs inclusive of skate clubs, lessons, after-school programs, community activations, and more. Grants are available up to $5,000 and are available on a rolling basis throughout the year. Together, we’ll enrich skatepark experiences by offering skill-building sessions, community connections, and mentorship opportunities, with grants covering various events, from skateboarding clinics to competitions and events.

It’s always great to collaborate with like-minded organizations, and we were thrilled to make this event happen as a team, providing skateboards, safety gear, and for over 40 local Bay Area youth!
