Harold Hunter Foundation
The Harold Hunter Foundation (HHF) was founded in 2007 to honor the life and legacy of iconic skater and actor Harold Hunter. For 17 years, HHF has been dedicated to transforming the lives of NYC youth through the power of skateboarding.
In 2025, TSP and HHF joined forces to strengthen the organization’s mission, expand programming, and maximize impact. As part of TSP, HHF will continue to provide direct-service skateboarding programs throughout NYC that continue to build on the legacy of the foundation.
HHF provides mentorship, mental health support, skill-building, and career development opportunities for youth in New York City through skateboarding-based programming.
Through this partnership, both HHF and TSP are committed to fostering personal growth, community engagement, career development, and educational resources for youth, through their combined initiatives.

Programs
Skate Clinics & Camp: We work with coaches to provide free weekly skate sessions across NYC, and we partner with skate camps, like Woodward, to provide scholarships for youth in under-resourced communities
Women & Girls Initiative: We provide skate-based community building and advocacy resources, as well as mentorship opportunities for women, girls, non-binary, and gender non-conforming skaters.
Men’s Mental Wellness: We provide workshops for male skaters to destigmatize conversations about mental wellness, build community, and engage with mental health resources.
Rider Development: We provide structured support to talented and competitive skaters who want to pursue careers as sponsored, professional skateboarders. Through mentorship, professional development, and physical conditioning, Rider Development offers a holistic framework to help aspiring professional skateboarders explore workforce opportunities and grow their careers both within and outside of the skateboarding industry, whether they approach skateboarding as an art or as a sport.
Creative Careers: We offer structured pathways to careers in creative fields related to skateboarding. Creative Careers offers access to educational growth opportunities, scholarships, and apprenticeship/internship opportunities. Through panels, workshops, networking events, and other activations, the program provides valuable work experience while introducing aspiring professionals to a network of working creatives who have developed successful careers in, and adjacent to, the skate industry.
