Skaters Take Over Brooklyn Banks + Tony Hawk Auction, New Parks & More!
Go Skate Day Takes Over Brooklyn Banks — Open Again After 15 Years!
Go Skate Day hit different this year. We teamed up with Vans and Gotham Park to celebrate at the Brooklyn Banks, newly reopened for the first time in 15 years, and the vibe was unforgettable!
Skaters from across NYC and beyond showed up strong, throwing down in a cash-for-tricks contest and lighting up this legendary spot like never before. But it wasn’t just about tricks or prizes — it was the energy of everyone coming together, fueled by a shared love of skateboarding, and the community that makes it so special.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this event possible, including Steve Rodriguez, Gotham Park, Vans, and the City of New York for collaborating with us to reopen this iconic skate spot.
Special shout-out to Tenant and Labor Skateshops for hooking up skaters with gift cards, Smartwater for keeping the crowd hydrated in that NYC heat, and Dede Lovelace for spinning tunes and keeping the vibes high all day long.
We’re still buzzing from the good times — moments like these remind us why public skateparks and open skate spaces matter. Visit skatepark.org to learn how YOU can help revitalize historic skate spots in your community!

Presented by Julien’s Auctions, The 900 Collection features nearly 100 items from Tony Hawk’s personal archive, including the helmet, sneakers, and knee pads he wore during the 1999 X Games, along with additional memorabilia spanning his iconic career.

Little Legends Skate Jam & Supply the Ride Giveaway – Watts, CA
TSP recently teamed up with The Little Legends Foundation for their First Annual Little Legends Skate Jam at Watts Skatepark. It was a day of community connection and youth development as young skaters took over the park, showing off new skills and building confidence on their boards.
Through our Supply The Ride program, local kids received new gear to help them fully enjoy the skateparks we work so tirelessly to support. Huge thanks to our partners at Crailtap, Triple 8, Exposure, and the LA Parks Foundation for standing with us to make skateboarding more accessible for youth everywhere!
Events like this prove that access to gear and skate spaces matters. When youth have what they need, they discover their passions, reach their potential, and build lasting friendships. Your donation helps support these vital programs — join us in giving every kid the chance to skate, connect, and thrive!
