A Year In Review, How Your Support Impacted Our Work
Thanks to you and the support of our dedicated community, The Skatepark Project was able to cover so much ground in 2022! 10 new skateparks have opened across states and we awarded 11 new grants to underserved communities. It is now more than ever that we are seeing the direct impact that outdoor recreation and skateboarding have on mental and physical health, so we are excited to announce that 15 more parks broke ground on new construction this past year.
As the future of skateparks continues to evolve and more communities seek support, funding, and advocacy, we’d like to acknowledge that none of this would be possible without your generosity and commitment. We look forward to continuing this impactful work with you in 2023!
As we come to the close of our milestone 20th year, we’ve been reflecting on our past and dreaming up what the next 20 years could look like. We know our mission is important to you and we’d love to have your insights and feedback to help inform our strategic planning.
Please take this brief 5-minute survey before it closes on January 13th, 2023. Thank you for advancing our mission of building accessible and inclusive skatepark communities across the country.
